Default Reduced Engine Performance - Bad Misfire - Help

This morning my wife was leaving the neighborhood in our LR3. She got about a mile and the truck just started shuttering. We got a check engine light and a reduced performance indicator on the dash. I hooked up my code reader and I have 14 codes, some of them are redundant. P0300,0302,0303,0304,0305,0301,0316. Each code repeated twice. These are misfire codes for each cyinder (except the 6th), random misfire, and misfire on startup.

This is a 2006 LR3, V6 with 95,000 miles. I just had it serviced about two months ago and the thing has been running beautifully until now. Its a 150 mile tow to a shop that can work on it, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Dain

seen some issues with injectors on those ford engines. hell buy the parts from a ford dealer for alot cheaper. all you need is new injectors and new intake gaskets. its the same as a 06 V6 Mustang motor.

Default Additional Questions.

I'm going to replace the injectors. I'm hoping it was just some bad gas or something and replacing the injectors and cleaning out the fuel system will get rid of the problem. Now I just have to remove the intake manifold to get to the system. I called up Land Rover and they quoted me $225 a piece for the injectors. I also called Ford and they quoted me $67 each. Can these really be the same pieces of equipment? There aren't any LR specific electronics in the ones that cost nearly 3.5 times the Ford ones?

This brings up another question. Is there a better way to empty the fuel tank, other than dropping it? Is this as simple as disconnecting the fuel line and turning on the fuel pump? Or can I pull a vacuum through the lines with a hand pump?

Thanks again.

no you can't draw it thru a vacuum.

if you want to empty the tank then hook up a fuel guage with a hose that drains off of it and start the car and let it run out into a big tank and let it run of out of gas.
