....anyone know if the uprated tie rods end ball joints (M14 v M12) perform better in the LR3?

This could be in terms of handling or longevity. Apparently, at least per the TSB, the tie rods are only changed for the larger ones if they are damaged (not so much if they are worn) and they would require a different knuckle as well...at least that's how it's being explained to me.

Can anyone shed light on this? Can the larger tie rods be installed without new knuckles? Are they better?
