I don't think it's the valve block if there is no dropping overnight.
The sensors , as stupid as this is, are specific to a side (per my buddy at the dealer parts dept) and you may have the other side part installed.
If you can get it calibrated, the other issue may go away. I know that if it's way out of range you could do it iteratively with the GAP tool, but I don't know the iLand tool at all.
I guess the real question is why it's so far out of range? When this happened to me it's because the front sensor bracket had bent and was out of place slightly. Maybe yours is due to wrong side sensor?

Two other things come to mind.
1. TEST the problem BEFORE buying parts
2. Spend the extra $$ for the GAP tool. iLand is good but the GAP tool seems a lot better.

Yeah...those are tough questions. I guess a calibration is a good first step, but spending a couple hundred at the dealer would suck, so then it makes sense to get the GAP tool and save the dealer costs. idk...
