For some reason I think it's a 7mm but that's really a WAG. I suppose I could check, but my Rover is 75 miles away until the weekend.

this my third day of searching, I found this:

DISCO3.CO.UK Photo Gallery - Traxide Dual Battery install in LHDrive/Main starting battery showing 1/2" hole drilled for power cable egress

In the text label it states, "The cable bolts to a spare 6mm threaded hole in the OEM battery cable end; "

I'm gonna stop at the hardware store this weekend and give 6mm a try.

Thank you for responding!

cheers,
Mitchell

Well, FWIW I just checked mine ('07) and it's an M8x1.25, so you might want to pick up a couple while you're there just to save an extra trip.

Thanks Don, I didn't make it to the hardware store yet. I believe 8mm is correct though. I was able to check the ID, it was 6.7mm, which is the exact tap drill size for 8mm.

Thanks for checking yours for me.

And the winner is M8 X 1.25mm.

Thanks for all the views and replies!
