Default From Suspension to Fuel Injection Pump

So I have a 2007 LR3, current mileage about 95,000 kms.
just last month, my warning light came on and vehicle was locked to limited gears, i restarted the vehicle, drove for few more minutes and lights came on again, as well as "Parking Brake Fault", vehicle went into limited gear again.....i towed the vehicle to the dealership and had it fixed, problem was front suspension leaking, so i had both front suspension changed, problem solved.

just last weekend, it happened again....same lights same problem vehicle locked in limited gear, this time I've managed to drive it in dealership without getting towed.
Problem this time was the Fuel Injection Pump.....needs to be replaced.

Has any owners encountered this problem? Thanks

Sounds like you dealer is just reading codes and assuming the the codes are 100% legit and the issue, because suspension work would have noting at all to do with limited gears. I would guess that this may be a power issue instead. Either from water ingress causing issues in the wires or something more absolute like a failing alternator or battery. I would have both of those tested first.

Thank you DakotaTravler,
From what they said, the limited gear function came in to "protect" the vehicle when the vehicle sensed a malfunction of suspension... to prevent more continuous driving that may cause more damage.
Limited gears happened again just couple days ago, due to malfunction of "Fuel Injection Pump", dealer needs to take the whole engine out to replace the pump....
Battery was replaced few months ago so i think battery should be good
I will ask the dealer to check the alternator while they're replacing the pump..........any other check/work they should/can do while they have the engine out? might as well do it all together...

Thanks Thanks!!

The system logic is not setup that way. A suspension error will not cause a limited gear fault. But a transmission, transfer case or rear diff error can disable the air ride. So the fault was probably something else. I don’t see why the engine would have to come out, that makes no sense. Good luck.

My guess would be a month ago, the pump's problem started to show, causing warning lights, causing gear lock.....
same time, my suspension are leaking(but not enough for warning lights to occur)......so when they check they saw the suspension problem and replaced it.
couple days ago the warning light came on and gear locked due to the pump.....

does this make more sense?....i dont know.........
