Default Suspension help

I’m new to the Rover world.. just picked up a 06 lr3.. when on bumpy roads I get a suspension fault code. The pump seams to run often and it seems to discharge often. The ride heights seems to work fine. Once in a while when playing with the off road height the fault will come on. I get the message and the orange icon. Any thoughts on this? Where do I start? I can’t hear any leaks from sticking my head near the bags.

not sure if it matters but I’m in cold VT where it’s currently 20 degrees out side.

side note.. my fog lights don’t work either. Tried new bulbs and nothing...

Thanks for the help!

On the compressor, it may just require servicing, kits available on ebay. Fog lights do not work with head light switch in auto, turn the switch to main beam and pull the switch outwards. This should turn them on.

You could have a cracked dryer cap. The dryer contains desiccant to dry out the air the compressor brings in. This needs to be replaced or rebuilt. But one issue is the cap on the dryer, it can crack between the two fittings for the air lines. That crack can cause the galley pressure to drop rapidly. And then if the center valve block has a leak, the air tank reservoir will bleed into the galley and out the leak causing a vicious cycle of the compressor having to run more than needed. If the compressor gets too hot or runs too long it will cause a fault.

I have tried them with the headlight in main beam and with the switch pulled out no fog lights at all. Even with brand new bulbs

Assuming you checked the obvious, the fuse, check the connector behind the bumper. If the bumper was removed at some point maybe they are disconnect. The connector should be on the left side. You may have to partially remove the wheel well liner to access.

They work on parkers as well so it could be your light switch is faulty, get a multimeter and check.
