Has anyone had a problem where the TAILGATE is reported to be open and it's not or a similar problem? When I lock the car the horn sounds and the dome light remains on. The dome light does appear to go off after some time. I'm concerned about it remaining on and discharging the battery.

I have the same problem except it says "hood open". I've tried everything short of removing the entire hood and replacing it but the darn message won't go away and I can't lock the doors without the horn sounding. Did you find a solution? I would be very interested to know what came of this. I am taking the LR3 in later this week (3rd time in 3 months!!!).. Love the dumb vehicle but so many issues....
