Well the local (120km away) LR dealer eventually came back with a price for just the glass - $950 + tax!.


By the time LR had responded, I had already contacted my local Speedy Glass in town and booked the vehicle in. Their price for the glass to be installed was $680 and my insurance covers all but $250. I'm happy as I now have a new window :-)

 

Out of curiosity, what is the brand of the new glass?

 

Not sure of the brand of glass. Its from a reputable company, is of the require standard and has a warranty so if it fails they replace.
