Default Tail Lamp Wiring Harness

After replacing the rear, blinker bulb a few times I realized the problem is a loose wire going into the connector from the bulb (yellow, I believe).

Is it possible to repair the wire where it inserts into the connector, do I need to replace the entire harness? Any instructions available?

Depending on where/how it is damaged, it may be repairable.

If you need to replace the harness, it is available separate from the housing.

P/N YND500080 for US spec vehicles.

I just cut some connectors off of the harness of an LR3, if you want to solder the wires and shrink wrap them.

That's very tempting--and generous of you. Still have them? Can I PM you my address? Worse case scenario it doesn't work and I have to buy a new one. Might go with Posi Lock, given I don't have a shrink-wrap gun.

...out of curiosity, if you don't mind, what project led you to cut off the connectors?

I have ruined a few connectors doing repairs and I wasn't going to pull the whole harness, so I cut off some of the connectors. Also, not that generous of me, I would sell them to you!

Ha, fair enough. I can get the whole harness for $40. Let me assess if I think that would be better than splicing in just the connector.

I didn't follow the harness back too far, but assumed it was too complicated to pull the whole thing.

Ah, well, this is the connector to the bulb side, not to the fuse box side.
