Default Throttle body remove and deep clean

I have a 2006 LR3 4.0L V6 and would like to remove the throttle body, sit down and really deep clean it at a workbench, and then reinstall it. Are there any issues if I do this related to the computer or somehow syncing it to the car? I have heard that moving the throttle body while cleaning can result in the need to take it to a shop and have it remarried. Is this true?

Thanks - and not a problem if I open/close the throttle body while cleaning either?

I highly suggest if you are re-using the gaskets to thinly coat them with high temp sealant. New TB gaskets are cheap too though. When I serviced mine I had a random lean code. After sealing stuff it went away. Pretty sure the metal gaskets are one-time use.
