Transmission “fixed” but now I’ve lost sport and manual mode

Took everything apart again and found that I bent the #1 pin on the tcm 😒
Attempted to very carefully bend it back and it broke off, so now I’m stuck with one of three options:
1.) never have sport mode or command shift again.
2.) find a way to repair the broken connection
3.) buy another tcm (from what I’ve read you can’t reprogram used ones).

Although both Land Rover and and BMW use very similar 6HP units, it is my understanding that BMWs are locked to VIN and Rovers are not. So a used TCM could still be an option.
You could also get a remanufactured valvebody from ZF, they usually run about $1600-1800 but come programmed by VIN and also comes with fluid and a new pan.

the vehicle had the “ca stop” shudder and was throwing a solenoid performance code on the highway. The new seals and solenoids fixed both issues.

I did not rebuild the valve body internals, just redid all of the seals between the valve body and transmission and replaced solenoids.
