Default Transmission Issue 2005 LR3

I have a 2005 LR3 I bought 18 months ago with the transmission too low on fluid due to the sleeve leak, it wouldn’t engage at all. Did new pan, filter, solenoids, fluid, gaskets. No shavings in the pan or anything. Since then it’s worked nicely except for one issue.

I’ve learned to live with the fact that it takes about 10 seconds for the transmission to „warm up“ after its sat for more than an hour. If I go into drive or reverse right after startup and give it gas, it’ll not move for a moment then lurch, and throw a fault and display an F, storing an “incorrect ratio” code. Turning the car off and on it goes away. If I put it into gear and not touch the gas until I feel the torque converter lockup a few seconds later it’ll go fine.

I started doubting my fluid fill and did a drain/refill of redline d6 (what I used last time) and the fluid came out black. 3/4 gallon out/3/4 in. This got me worried about temps so I monitored on the trail this weekend.

Did a 160 mile round trip through trails and mountain passes. 0 issues the entire trip. Monitored temps: operated at around 75c and when I was climbing it would get to 90. Just got home, let car sit for an hour. Went out to move it and put it into D and it revs to 2 grand or so, then after a few seconds it kinda sorta engages and limp for a few feet to turn around. Then I put it into R and it’s behaving again. Threw no faults. Checked temp and it’s at 74.

What do you guys think the culprit is here??
