Hi Guys,

When the trucks shifts from 1st to second or from second to first it gives a violent jerk. I'm not sure what the problem is exactly. I took it to the dealer about a month ago and they drove it and found nothing but the problem is getting worse. I am planning to go back. Is there anything i need to tell them. Any advice would be helpful

Go by your local tranny shop and have them scan for faults. When did you last service the tranny and how many miles on it now?

 

theres a software update for the engine and transmission that will take care of this. its a pretty common problem and easily fixed. no damage is being done to the trans right now, its just valves being too open and the engine not detorqueing itself during the shift
