Dear fellow Discovery owners

I'm experiencing two different types of vibrations / noises in low RPM's in fifth and sixth gear. When the cruise control is activated the RPM's go up and down as well.
I've talked to a couple of different mechanics here in Sweden, including a dealership but they seem to be clueless about this issue.
I would very much appreciate if anyone could help me shine a light on the issue and a possible solution?

If RPM and fluctuating (going up and down) it might be some form of torque convertor shutter. When was the transmission fluid last changed? Automatic transmission I assume? There are other possibilities, but we need to narrow it down.

 

Thank you for your@DakotaTravler . It has automatic transmission yes. I'll get the transmission fluid changed now and then get back to you if the problem persists 👍

 

What is the mileage, does sound like the torque converter is failing.
