Default Wanted (buy/borrow): Suspension Configuration (EAS Reflash) Device

Took my LR3 to the shop and they reset the suspension, so now I need to find this device to re-program the vehicle:

It's out of stock at Atlantic British. Would love to buy it from someone in the forums that has it. I'd also willing to pay to rent it, as I only need it once.

Why did that casue an issue? I assume you mean that the re-calibrated it when you say "reset it" but why is that bad?

Also, if you can get an IIDTool from GAP Diagnostics, it's a much better choice.

Default I'm confused......

Is the OP showing a pic of the device that eliminates dash warnings for coilers but thinks it's something else?

To be honest I'm not 100% sure what the shop did. They're not a land rover specialty shop. I brought the vehicle in for a misfire and when I got it back the vehicle it has a "system fault special programs not available" which I assume is because they reprogrammed (re-flashed?) and erased the coil conversion EAS programming.

I have the GAP tool but that won't help in this situation. I was hoping to borrow one of these re-flash devices on the suspicion that it'd fix the issue.

I don't know what the shop did, but I'm pretty sure (if not 100% certain) that the GAP tool could do anything and a boat load more than the tool shown in the picture. You need to explain a little more what you're trying to solve for and then figure out how the IID tool can help.

1. Did the misfire get fixed?
2. What codes does the IIDTool show?

To the best of my knowledge the GAP tool does not have the software to update a EAS truck to Coils so the system does not fault

GAP tool won't do what the orange box does.

The orange box tricks the computer into thinking there is still air suspension. This stops any suspension faults and lets you have the special programs when on springs

This is my understanding as well. And it's exactly what I'm hoping to do. Hence the first post in this thread - does anyone have one of these little boxes I can borrow?
