This is my second LR3. Had a tech problems with first one. The present one has been doing great until last month when the "check engine" amber light continuously appeared. Brought car for service and picked it after 3 days, drove about 8 miles from the dealership and the same "check engine" amber light went on. Back to the service department--kept the car longer this time for almost 6 days with "extra diagnostic" testing. Was given back the car today and after about 7 miles of driving, same amber warning lights went on!!!! Can anyone help? I'm frustrated being told by service dept that they fixed the problem when obviously they did not!

 

what fault codes did you have the first two times? and what was done to fix them?

 

having the same problem, never went to the dealer yet but I don;t want to go through all that hassle with no results even if I'm am still under warranty.
some on this site must have been through the same problem and solved it.
I would love to know
