I hooked up my Gap tool a couple of days ago just for the sake of running through stuff, and I found a setting in CCF mode that said Xenon headlight: No.

So, I switched it to yes, updated the CCF and Viola'! When I turned the truck off and back on - no weird flashy thingy happening!

 

Awesome. I'm fixing my wife's tomorrow.
