Hey all! I replaced an air spring several months ago and used my Snap On Solus Ultra to recalibrate ride height afterwards. Ever since when I select entry height mode it indicates as Off Road mode on the 4x4 screen. The LR3 is in entry mode but it reads off road. Not a big deal until we were in a parking garage where we HAD to be in entry mode for height restrictions and I heard the air compressor kick in! I believe we stayed in entry height but it made us nervous. So the question is....how do I get my screen to display the lower mode when LR3 is set to entry mode. It indicates properly for normal and off road modes so I am scratching my head. I tried recalibrating again and ended up with the same results.

Is the problem with the Snap On programmer not completing something that a Rover dedicated programmer would handle? Any help I can get is appreciated. My buddy has the iLand programmer but we have not tried that yet. I thought I would ask for opinions before we mess around any more.

 

I don't think re-calibration is typically required after a spring-swap. That said, your best move is to buy an IIDTool anyway. It will pay for itself, and it can also help you diagnose this problem.

 

 

Ok thanks guys! I watched an Atlantic British video and he said recalibration was necessary so I did that. I called an independent shop today that specialized in Rovers and they told me to double check the ride height arms to make sure one isn't bending the wrong way. So I will check that too and likely first before I try recalibrating with the iLand.
