Default May be a stupid question, but...

Does the OEM cover go inside or outside? I ask because, it would be nice to cover the cowl when parked to prevent warping.

Inside. Its just a fold up one. My new cowl is already warping, 3.5 years old... annoying! And I dont park in sunlight.

You said chasing, not found.
I do hope there is a follow on post with the culprit identified.

So that hose was snapped off from a larger hose that tied in a the back side of the thermostat housing area under the intake manifold.

Unbolted the manifold got it all moved for access and off the chunk came and I found this from a previous bleeder T.

So I think I found it. Got the cooling system bleed and all seems right in the world. A little driving should tell me if I am right.

Put some Range Rover Sport wheels and tires on it and Monday I'm going to wash it before putting it up for sale on post. It has served my wife well but about 7 months ago I picked her up her dream car and I can't justify keeping it around.

Than I used my LR3 to yank a tree out

Well, my intermittent came up again and I captured the following:

Instrument Pack

U0132-87 (2E) Lost communication with ride level control module - Bus signal/message failure - missing a message

U0127-87 (2E) Lost communication with tire pressure monitor module - Bus signal/message failure - missing a message

Parking Brake

U0100-87 (A8) Lost communication with engine control module/powertrain control module 'A' - Bus signal/message failure - missing a message
( on 11-08-2021 09:21:25 at 276008 km )

U0101-87 (A8) Lost communication with transmission control module - Bus signal/message failure - missing a message
( on 11-08-2021 09:21:25 at 276008 km )

Transmission

U0401-86 (28) Invalid data received from engine control module/powertrain control module - Bus signal/message failure - signal is invalid
( on 11-08-2021 09:21:25 at 276008 km )

Tyre Pressure

C1A64-93 (68) Spare wheel tire pressure sensor and transmitter assembly - Component failure - no operation

These codes seem to indicate a loss of communication between modules (except the spare wheel TPMS, I know the spare is dead), I'll dig a bit deeper...

You don't have to pull the intake to do that hose, I think I made a write-up on how to? Well too late now anyway, but its easy to do.

Loanrangie...

I'm pretty sure that there is a CAN BUS issue (so many U - codes), just trying to figure out how to address it/them, currently reading all I can on CAN Protocols, not sure if I have enough experience but willing to give it a shot. There's an Arduino person who is doing some crazy things with the CAN BUS protocol on his Mazda RX80/electric motor conversion which I think we perhaps benefit from?...

Refurbed all my interior W5W and licence plate lamps with some high quality made in China LEDs, they are all working fine and no problems (yet)!!! Checking grounds for my other issues...
