Unhappy '12 LR4 ABS sensor fault

Hey all, new here. I tried posting in the general tech help page but no one answered, hopefully someone here can help!

In the process of trying again and again to get up a muddy hill (and evenually high-centering and having to dig my way out), a large branch which had been used to try to gain traction got jammed up between the front passenger suspension arm, the strut and the tire. I was able to pull it out and it didn't seem to have damaged anything. A few hours later on our way home we started getting all sorts of faults, though. The check engine light is on with a R front wheel speed sensor code (which seems to have discontinued all suspension support with faults in the air ride system, ABS, and traction control) so I replaced the ABS/Wheel Speed sensor and everything was fixed!

...Until 3 days later. Same faults, same wheel, body lowered to the frame, no suspension control and nothing responding. It's a brand new speed sensor so I don't think it's that, and even though there are like 6 dash lights on, it's only throwing one code.
The only other damage I noticed was that the CV boot was pulled out from under the clip on the small side (toward the engine).

Any suggestions? I'm wondering if there's something going on with the ABS computer due to the sensor, but there's no obvious damage and no other codes going on. Thanks!

For starters, don’t think the speed sensor circuit has anything to do with the ride hieght.

If your code is still for the speed sensor, then I would re check the connector and pull the sensor from hub and check that it’s well seated.

I can’t remember but guessing there is an o ring at the sensor/hub, check that as well.

sounds like something simple.
