Default 2016 LR4 pre purchase

I am looking to purchase a 2016 LR4 this weekend. Will test drive then make a decision. I will use this vehicle mostly on pavement with some mountain roads and an occasional trail here and there. The asking price is 38k with 49000 miles. It’s an hse supercharged with a lot of bells and whistles including aftermarket tires and wheels. My questions are, is this a good price? Will it perform well in my area? I live in Bozeman Montana. Are there any specific things I need to look for at the dealership? I have a carfax report in hand to double check anything. Thanks for your help ladies and gentlemen.

Sounds pricy, but honestly I have not looked at the later models.

Buy an extended third party warranty through the dealer. We have several customers who have paid for their warranty 3 times over already.

I thought that was a little high myself. I havent seen the vehicle in person yet but obviously I am going to try and talk them down a little. I have already priced an extended warranty for it for 4 years bumper to bumper. Its kind of expensive but I like the piece of mind that comes with it.

Whatever the cost, its worth it.

Make sure to ask questions. Although Bumper to Bumper sounds comprehensive, It might not be.

Specifically ask if it covers:
- Electronic parking brake
- Control arm bushings
- Air struts
- Air suspension compressor
