Purchased March 2016. Items repaired and replaced so far....

Water Pump. 3/16 one week after purchase dealer shouldered the bill $0
Alternator 8/16 $1480 Dealer
Keys not recognized. 8/16 $1080 Dealer Reprogrammed All Keys
Moon Roof Drain Clogged (known Issue) all water went in. $1020 fix the drain and pull carpet to dry the car

I will need new front brakes and rotors, $1450
I have an oil leak that I have to ask where its coming from.

I bought it at 59500 Miles and I have 70k on the odometer. I have to be honest, my LR3 was alot more dependable than this truck or my GL450...

I might just end up selling this and buy a 2013 GL350 which is super dependable.

Holy crap!!! I would do all those jobs for 1/2 what you paid and still feel bad charging so much!!! U need a good independent mechanic; they don't have the overhead that stealerships have. Most are more honest too, as their reputation means much more to them. This is most of the reason that Rovers have the reputation that they do; all cars need maintenance and repairs but the "foreign car" stealerships make you believe that they're working on mini-space shuttles, with parts only available from another planet..
