Daily intermittent rhythmic engine shudder
Finally received the new canister and having in hand I now understand how simple it is to install. HOWEVER due it it large size and being wedged between the subframe and the floor of the truck, even with all line disconnected and 2 bolts holding it down, there's no room or access to remove it once released. Searches have yielded answers which indicate due to the difficulty level of removing the canister indicate a trip to the main dealer is best.

I have not done it myself, and that section of my manual is missing, so I don’t have the procedure. I know I’ve seen posts where people have done it (not detailed procedures, but just showing it can be done). I would suggest paying $10 for a one-day land rover topix subscription and downloading the relevant section of the manual.
Topix AND Alldata have been reviewed and no further details beyond what's in the workshop manual could be found which's to say there's no information whatsoever to provide ANY incite as to how to remove it. Can't say I'm surprised, older workshop guides used to be quite detailed, now they leave most of it to the mechanics to figure out on their own, this isn't the first time I've fun into this problem.
Spoke with the main dealer and they suggested it may be necessary to remove the fuel tank again and all lines and hoses to make room to get to the canister. I just paid to do this to replace the filter and pump as the outstanding recall for the fuel flange had no ETA as of last year. As of now, JLR still has not ETA for the recall but hopes to have parts before years end.
Some dealers already have the recall parts and are doing the repairs. check out last few posts of this thread. https://www.landroverworld.org/threa...-system.43336/

Well, I don't know main dealer insists the JLR's not started the recall yet and the new flange's not expected until before year's end. I only received the first notice and not received the second notice so that at least confirms what I've been told. Reckon I could call JLR again...
After multiple attempts finally spoke with the same person who said later this year. Now he say's JLR sent the wrong flanges for the recall and it'll be another 3+ weeks before the correct recall parts will be sent from the UK....
I'd also purchased a new DMTL pump since it's part of the canister. The one currently fitted does not have any errors but I often hear it running, sometimes as long as five minutes after the trucks been sitting off in the garage until I open the gas cap, the pump shuts off. No idea if that's normal.

As a follow up, main dealer installed flange number 3 under recall. As for the rhythmic shudder after fill, it's become more infrequent, from occurring every time with intensity to now occurring perhaps once out of ten fills and with varying intensity from mild to strong so I've abandoned any further diagnosis.
