interior trim removal on 2012 LR4

interior trim removal on 2012 LR4
The interior trim side pieces in the rear load space are held in place by 1. the tie-down bolts; 2. two push in plastic fasteners and 3. two metal spring clips.
I cannot figure out how to release the spring clips! Is there a special tool for these clips?
