gregstevens67 - i found you error, first - please check a solenoids (just electric tester), second - buy a repair kit from ZF for 6hp26 and set it on you mechatronics , third - change oil.
I hope it help you with you problem.

Hi, error is "Gearbox Fault" "HDC not available system fault"

I have a new battery in mechatronic tested all working fine but still the problem wont go away.

Sergy I think my problem is in the gear select slider where it meets the hall sensor. Will strip it down Monday for a more thorough inspection....Will let you know.

Hi Gasa, where are you at with your gearbox fault...Whats your thoughts on the gear sensor pcb replacement video from Sergey? Do you have P081C-64 Fault code?

Hi Sergey, how did you get the gear sensor pcb out of the housing? Video doesn't show how? What did you use to insulate the new pcb, resin? Cheers Greg

Default Gearbox fault
Hi guys, contacted ZF direct and spoke to a tech. He reckons the trans is fine and is pointing at the shifter! Have one on the way, will keep you posted.
