Smile NO Compression in the Engine LR4-2013

HI, I recently had a major issue. I went a put Gas in my car at Costco.( which I never do) and within 45 minutes.
My Car ( which I found Out later) the fuel line burst while I was driving which cause my engine to hault and smoke ( I thought my car was on fire)
Long story short, Land Rover is now saying the engine has no compression. Would the fuel line bursting cause my engine to seize up and Die. I was told it wil cost 32K to fix.
Please can you explain how this might happen from a Professional Standpoint. I would greatly appreciate it.

I don’t see how that is possible.

which fuel line? Was it from the tank or one of the high pressure lines?

with 32k on the line I would pay them to do the compression test while you watch and record the numbers.

also, we sell remanufactured 5.0 motors from the UK for 12k, 3k Install.
