I have been researching the LR4 to hopefully purchase one soon. I really want HID (at least low beam OEM) it there a way to tell by looking at lr4 without turning vehicle on, if it has the OEM hid lights? Did HID's only come with the Vision assist package...so if I see the cameras on the side mirror then am I safe to assume it has HID OEM?

Thanks for the help but I think I was misunderstood.

I am trying to locate an used LR4 with OEM xenon HID headlights. I look at many pictures online of LR4's and want to find one with OEM xenon headlights. Do only the LUX packages have them?

 

Some of the newer HSEs with vision assist have HIDs. HID is standard with the LUX. I don't think you can tell by looking at the lights themselves from the outside as they both have projector lenses.

 

Here are some pocket facts for 2010 ans 2011 LR4
I don't have 2012 or 2013 handy
Looks like zenons are standard on the hse lux or with the vision package.
Best bet is to get the VIN and have the dealer run a DDW that will show you
all the options that particular vehicle came with and eliminate any confusion.
