Default Oil leak on lower RH side of engine 2012 Lr4

Fairly large leak, I would assume it’s the vacuum pump but there is also oil above it. I’ve got that rover repair fatigue, and was hoping someone could tell me what’s wrong before I go poking around down there.

that looks like a vacuum pump leak, very common and very simple to fix. the vacuum pump is the round metal casing sitting in front of the belt. those seals go bad and it leaks from below then blows all behind it from the engine fan. that pump takes <30 mins to replace, or you can get a $20 kit with new rubber gaskets and that takes about 1hr.

the other option is the lower timing chain cover is leaking. but the vacuum pump is almost guaranteed to leak at high miles so I would start there. I replaced mine around 110k miles.
