Parted ways with our LR4
Well, after nearly 6 years of very happy driving, we parted with our 2010 LR4. Sold to another forum member so we are glad that it found a good home.
I know most people post on here with a problem. So let me do the opposite. In 6 years and over 50k miles for us (86k in total) it never failed to start first time - not even once. It never broke down, never stranded us or let us down. It was rock solid
It had only 2 visits to the dealer outside of annual servicing, once for front lower control arms and once for the gear selector lever which was faulty. It had the water pump and one wheel bearing done under warranty. Otherwise all just routine maintenance
Not going far - about to pick up a new 2018 Discovery so will still be around the forum and will check back on the LR4s too!
