Hello, I have a 2015 LR4 and our rear camera has become so foggy and scratched that I need to replace it. I purchased the replacement parking camera part LR052028. Does anyone know how to access the camera to replace it? Wondering if I need to pull off the rear top lift gate trim to remove the entire lift gate panel or if I can access it from the outside. Thanks in advance!
You will need to removed the interior trim from the upper lift gate. 1 screw that holds on a small piece of trim at the locking mechanism. 3 Torx screws under the seal. Then after you remove the trim there are 4 10mm nuts that hold the handle assembly ( part that houses the licence plate bulbs and the camera) to the rear lift gate.
