RH F&R carpet soaking edge wet when parked, not driving
#12
Didn't notice any water coming from the door weep holes. Can be tricky to find the source as water travels from one area to another quickly and it's filling up under the carpet. I literally vacuumed 2 gallons of water from underneath the door sill, the floor pan was completely full. Since it's happening whilst parked it's got to be coming from above. Front and rear equally soaked, happens on level surface and on incline so either it's both doors or it moving from front to back. The foot well carpet in the front is dry at the top and it more wet at the door sill though I reckon if it's coming from the front, it could be traveling under the carpet fast enough to not get it wet.

I removed the B pillar and found nothing wet. Removed the F&R sill, rubber mouldings and the plastic trough under the sill and found more water in the floor pan trough where the wire looms reside. Carpet was dry. I don't think it's coming from the rear based on the dryness of the underside of the carpet the third and second rows. Next I'll have a look under the foot-well plastic kick cover and see if it's the A-pillar perhaps. It's a lot of water and it happens very quickly when parked so it must be a very big hole.
