Default Seafoam during oil change??

I posted last week that I was thinking about a 2010 Lr4 and I pulled the trigger. I’m gonna be doing an oil change once I get my mightyvac tomorrow and I just wanted to see thoughts on putting a can of seafoam in with the oil. I would run it for about 1000 miles and then change it again to just oil (planning on using Mobile one high mileage). The truck had the timing chain replaced at 40,000 miles (now has 93,000) and I’ve read that oil pressure/sludge is the culprit in the timing chain wear.... Are you kidding me LR with 15,000 mile oil changes. So, Sound like a plan Dan? Let me know what you think.

I wouldn’t. Stick to a good synthetic oil and if you have to, change it after 1k miles.

seafoam is a general all around kind of additive. I always like to use specific products for the task.

BG petrospecs has a great line up of additives, if you have to put in sonething.
