2015 LR4 Lux - I have a quote from dealer to redo front and rear crossovers, water pump, and thermostat for roughly $4500. Does this seem excessive? I know the crossovers are a pain. I am going to get it to an Indy shop for a second quote.

For some context the dealer quoted me $32k to perform the recommendations (of which this was a part), this seems excessive. The vehicle drives fine and has 84k miles. Occasional lower control arm noise if it hits a bump just right. I almost feel like they just don’t want to work on it lol.

 

excessive but not suprising. The supercharger has to come out on the v6 to replace the front and rear crossovers so more labour than the NA v8. Also LCA noise..they need replacement and an alignment. I would seek an indy unless you want to DIY. [both are doable]
