Default tire pressure warning

Hey everyone, I just picked up a 2012 lr4 with 92k on it. Looks good and runs great but the tire pressure monitor warning keeps going off even though all the tires are within spec. The spare looks original and doesn't have a tpm on it. When the warning comes on the dash the blower, radio, blinkers, windows all cut out. The car still runs though. was wondering if anybody else had a similar situation and what you did about it. Im going to the dealer next week for tires and was thinking new sensors as long as the tires were off. Im just worried it might be something else like the module in the ceiling. Thanks in advance.

Get the codes read. If you're happy to work on the vehicle rather than pay a dealer, your next purchase should be the GAP IID tool. Pays for itself in no time.

I had this recently and saw in the manual the pressure for the rear I believe is 42 and the front is 36...that was different than what my tires said.
Once I changed it my tire pressure light went off.

thought id give an update. Last week the dealer put on new tires and tire pressure sensors. The tires were bald and the sensors are 9 years old so it made sense. I took it out for a test drive and after 10 minutes it was back to the same problems. They hooked it up to the diagnostic machine and found a bunch of codes being thrown from the BCM. I hooked it up to my ILand app and found the same thing. Anyway its still at the dealer while they wait for a new BCM to come in. While they're replacing that they will check out everything else down there and make sure none of the connections are corroded. I think the previous owner had problems with the sunroof drains leaking and they didn't address it until it was too late. It really is a great ride it just needs a little love. I hope this fixes it. I also have a 96 D1 which is really easy to work on. None of these electrical problems. Thanks again for your replies.
