Dealership installed new tires and 4 wheel alignment. On way home got the TPMS/System Alerts which indicated that the Left Rear Tire Sensor was not responding. No TPMS Issue ever before. Have read that the sensors are self programming and can be told to re-program via the GAP tool. So thought, well, let me see. So went to ECU\BCM and found TPMS Spare, TPMS 1 and TPMS 2. Don't believe the spare has/had a sensor so it being none is ok. TPMS 2 is self explanatory and seems correct, but TPMS 1 has a LOT of settings, and the GAP manual that I have doesn't mention TPMS at all. So wondering which of the TPMS 1 settings it should be on to tell it to reprogram itself or is the command to tell it to do that in another section? And is the WBL setting the correct setting for normal use on US vehicles?
Strange that it developed after a tire change. TIA//
