well the TPMS light is on again.. all the tire sensors work correctly. Checked w the autel.. 18 months ago the original TPMS module failed and the new used junk yard unit worked great until recently.. Bought another used unit, did the relearn… bingo warning light gone! BUT after sitting overnight and restarting my baby it comes back..
rather than keep playing w the TPMS module I heard it is possible to program the truck not to have the TPMS system active anymore.. is it??
Is there an emulator I can by?
I have an Autel ( love it ) but I didn’t see the functionality to program the TPMS system to shut off ..

You can disable TPMS in the CCF registry. Not sure if your scan device will do this, GAP IID does so I assume some other tools are able to as well.

 

Thank You! I may be wrong, but I don't think I can access the CCF registry w/ my Autel MaxiPROMP808TS. Maybe one day I'll bump into a Rover member with a GAP IID and I'll bribe to disable the TPMS... 3 slices of pizza! lol

 

Hello, my brother found a post that the JLR SDD can be loaded into my laptop and it allows you to program the CCF registry. Has anyone tried this software w/ success? thx
