I recently had my truck service and within three days after pickup, the Transmission fault light came on. Can someone please advise what this means?

 

Is the warning still there?

Could be a few things
- weak battery can sometimes give spurious codes and warnings - worth a check as a cheap fix
- trans fluid leaking (there is a seal that often goes). Have it checked as that can lead to transmission failure and v expensive repair

Unfortunately no dipstick to check it yourself. So I'd have it taken in and checked. Prob on flatbed to be on the safe side
