We decided to move forward with the Landmark. Deposit placed. Vehicle should be ready over the weekend after it goes through the Prep Center. I hope we made the right decision.

Thank you. First LR/RR 6cyl product we have ever owned. I hope we/I am not disappointed. (Going to start browsing the Jaguar forums and see if someone offers a tune & pulley combo for this thing.)

Any update on how the V6 treated you? I’m looking to buy but concerned with reliability as I will be buying with 75k or so miles. I have seen plenty of V8’s with 150k on them (even if they are making timing noise). Anyone seen any mileage on these SCV6’s?

The V6 is noisy in its own right but has treated us well. My wife's has 125,000 (valve cover replacement, water pump, cross over pipes, supercharger coupler, and brakes) and mine has 65,000 (battery and brakes). Both see oil changes every 6000 miles; diffs, transfer case service every 30,000; and tranny service every 50,000.

Spent lots of time behind the wheel of both. Ended up (earlier this year) with a 2013 HSE LUX with 41K mi & and extended warranty. We had to wait quite a while to find the right one. for the right price, I would’ve considered a SCV6, but the V8 is better. The difference in power has more to do with delivery than quantity.

Our 15 needed tensioners/guides at 50,005 miles. No joke. I had thankfully recorded the sound at 48,000 and took it in only to be told there was no issue. Thankfully it was covered as good will but only because I'd documented it.
