Default Worn Brake Pads

I replaced the front rotors, brake pads and sensor last May. I have a message and service light that says "Break pads are worn". I made a decision to go ahead and replace the rotors and brake pads on the rear as I thought it would be a good idea to have all four wheels matching.
The message of "Break pads are worn and the service light are still on. Any ideas??

Just to make sure, you replaced the rears now, and the fronts last May? Have you checked the front left inner pad? I've seen front brakes go in 1 year depending on driving.

first chck the thickness of the fronts the determine if the front or rear pad sensor has worn or if wire(s) is broken. If the pads wore until the dash messsage illuminated, sensor must be replaced when pads are.

Thanks for the responses. I finally spent the better part of a day going through the brakes and ordered a new sensor for the rear. I installed the rear sensor and even had my neighbor come over to do a continuity test on the sensors. I had replaced the front sensor last year when I did the front brakes so I wasn't focused on it being that. The second my neighbor came over I noticed the front sensor was worn through, probably from rubbing on the wheel. I proceeded to replace the sensor with the old one from the rear as there was nothing wrong with it. Problem solved. Always helps to have a helping hand when all he did was drink my beers in celebration of the fix.
