Any further development on your 1.9 VWTDI to Disco install? I have been checking the forum on a regular basis with regard to this thread.

Hey, the project has been put on long term hold due to lack of space to work on. Some other stuff came up and i lost the spot in the drive way.

Next spring if everything goes according to plan we'll be getting a place with more room and the project will continue. All the custom made parts and goodies are in the garage just waiting for another donor truck.

In the meantime i bought a diesel truck. I got a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee CRD.

What you said 04duxlr. It's true.

I my self am working on a conversion but had a time and money set back and a critical component missing preventing me from moving forward. Now I have that integral piece and time, I also can proceed, as well as keep posting. Keep in mind that not everyone has the time and coin to take on one of these conversions all at once let alone finish one upon the abrupt realization of how much experience, time and money is actually requires.

I only chimed in on your comment as I felt guilty of starting a thread of my own with the potential of not going further.

Sorry if i hijacked any attention away from Red_Liner.

Great job Red_liner!

He hasn't been on in 7 years so unfortunately it's unlikely you will get any answers

Considering purchasing a 2004 Disco S that has a diesel swap (unfinished Project). ALL stuff swapped in is mechanical.... no computers used to operate the swapped in parts....

Since you have sort of "been there" ... you got any advice on doing the re-wire that is not yet done in this project yet? complete re-wire with a harness kit orr?

MB diesel... gear stuff is all New Venture
