Default 2003-2004 Headlight Conversion Quest.

Hey all,
My name is Louis, I'm new to the site but used to be on Vwvortex.com(volkswagen forums) all the time and learned alot and received alot of help... so I'm hoping this sites the same.

Anyhow, I t-boned a vehicle that ran a red light and now my front end needs some help. I have a 1999 Disco2. I've been wanting to put the newer body style lights/bumper and now i finally have the oppurtunity.

I understand to put the new headlights on you have to cut the rad support correct? Well being that I need a new rad support. Can i just get the 03-05 sqaure cut rad support? Or are there other things that wont fit then ?

If anyone has pictures of the conversion or a how-to / parts needed list I would really appreciate it. My email is LM.CTSturbo@gmail.com

Also If you guys can list any good sites to buy Rover parts i would also appreciate that :P

I did the conversion to my 2000 Disco II. You do need to cut the radiator support to clear the new lights. It is pretty easy with the right tools. I used some sheet metal edge protector so there are no sharp edges. I don't know if the 03-04 radiator support will fit. That would be the way to go if you have to change it anyways. The 03-04 grill will fit. If you are using a newer grill with you old bumber you will have about a 2 inch gap. I used a piece of aluminum and painted it black to fill the gap on mine. Search this site for more post on conversions.
