Default fj80 lift

Im still searching but havent found the exact answer im looking for. Will Fj80 springs work on a Disco 2??? I just need to know if they work on not.

also has any one ever tryed any other toyota springs like off 4runners or tacomas. As i have access to a few sets of toyota springs. lifted toyotas are the most popular trucks here to lift there every where.

back to searching...

Why not go with a tried and test OME or RTE set of coils, made for the weight and top heaviness of a D2?

I just wanted to know if they work on a D2. But simply the OME and RTE lifts are not free unless you want to get me some . And I can easly get toyota stock and aftermarket parts.

If you can get the springs for free then I don't see what it would hurt if you went on and tried. I was actually wondering a few days ago if there were any other spring choices. Sure it's not a land rover part, but neither is the chevy thermostat I've read some people have used. I hope you look further into it and find an answer. Good luck and take plenty of pictures if you decide to give it a try.

ill keep you guys posted when i try it. Was also woundering if any one has tryed swaping out the trans and diff for a non AWD set up. If you want 4WD lock the center diff and go. I feal that the AWD on rovers for street driving is just waisting power in an allready under powered truck.
