1st one has made 60+ pulls, since I got it. I have 3 more. (one on a work truck, one on a gooseneck, one on the back of my disco) I have only had one issue. solenoid ground wire got loose, loctite fixed it. have not had problem, otherwise......and the last one I got had that wire patched into the main ground, so they fixed my 1 minor issue.
That's actually pretty impressive for a 300$ winch... when the time comes, when they go on sale again at least, I might just hop on the bandwagon and buy the HF winch. I'll just buy the lifetime HF offers along with it.
Also, I overlooked this at first, you have one mounted to the rear end of the disco? Jeez your disco has to weigh 7,000 pounds now, where'd you mount it?

Not sure if you have ordered your line yet Dusty but these guys had amsteel blue line for pretty cheap 85' 3/8" $260 free shipping and you get a highly polished nearly chrome fairlead to give to one of your friends... or use so you dont snag your new line on burrs created by your steel cable
