So I have a q on the syn rope, in the winter like now there is ice packed I to my winch/cable, I could probly get the cable out if needed but wouldn't the rope get destroyed trying to unspool it when this happens?

4wheel parts has a decent sale going, now, on recovery gear. I picked up a $24 ****** block, $12 quick rings and a $28 tree saver. could be local....dunno.

Default Badlands winch

Just installed my ARB & a 12k Badlands winch. Rotated the handle so it's accessible from the slot. Had to enlarge the mounting holes a bit since it was 10 1/8 inch. Still haven't mounted the control. May have to put new springs up front since the ARB & winch is pretty hefty.

Noticed the nose down attitude immediately.
Any suggestions on the springs?

TIA.
