Default How to take off mud flaps!!

I have a 2001 Discovery II Series, and my boyfriend, stepdad and I have spent multiple hours under my truck trying to figure out how to take off the mudflaps, anyone know how to?

On a series 1 you can Unbolt the entire bracket from the floor. 3 10mm bolts. Dunno if a D2 is the same.

Think you have to pull carpets back to access the area, or just cut off the rubber part

I think the nuts are accessible from underneath the vehicle.

OK then if if studs spin u need to pull carpet to access them from top

Easy to cut off rubber so u don't end up with bolt holes in floor
