Does anyone know of a good way to put a jerry can and hi lift on a factory rear spare? or a factory rear bumper?

 

Not without buying a swing away bumper. I installed my Jerry can inside and on the rear door. I went to Lowe's and bought two metal handles w/ 4 screws for each one and drilled them into the metal just above the rear pocket holder. I used a rachet strap to tie it down. Pretty sturdy and a clean look. Asfar as the Hi Jack I simply attached it to my cage on top of the roof. Some prople will fabricate a bracket and install it on the spare tire. The factory bumper won't handle it, the spare can handle a high lift although that extra weight will with time cause the door winges to drop.

 

I made a copy of the safari gard spare tire hi-lift mount out of some steel plate and tubing. works great..
