Default Shock Swap

So I've got a question for all the Landy lovers. I recently purchased a 2004 Discovery in great shape, only issue is the shocks are a little worn (especially the rear). In the process I'm working on selling my 97 disco, problem is I just purchased a set of ES Comp 9000 shocks for the 97. My question is, are the Shocks from the 97 compatible to the 04?

You'd have to spend more money to make them work than it would be to just buy D2 shocks.
