Turbo Charger for Discos ?
Fun fact - the first US production car fitted with a turbo charger was the 62 Buick F-85. A smokin' 215 HP out of the 215 CI aluminum block. Had a special container of 50:50 alcohol and water that was injected also to cool it down, that bottle had to be kept topped up with the "Jetfire fluid".

So the old Buick/Rover engine has a little history behind it.

No, I just threw in some pix. I guess it bolts to the old style 4bbl manifolds. I saw the write up in a magazine touting the 18 most signifcant designs or such. Funny that our humble V-8 was also the first American turbo. Chevy followed shortly afterwards with with a turbo Corvair. Unlikely we will ever see such a creature at a boneyard.
Yeah, there aren't enough head gasket problems on these engines, I think it would be good to up the compression.
FWIW, DAP sold turbo kits for Series 2.25/2.5 engines in the 80's and early 90's.
Al had one on an 88 and told me he liked surprising sports car drivers at lights.

I had a twin turbo audi that ran 28-30 psi of boost w/ the assistance of a water/methanol spray and an aggressive tune. Without the cooling properties of the meth the engine probably would've grenaded. Still not sure how the bottom end of that motor held up for all those years and third gear pulls. Audi can sure build a Bomb proof motor. Geez... Now I'm getting all nostalgic, I miss that car.
