I didn't know the old EP winches were that fast or did they upgrade the guts when ComeUp/Viking bought them? I had an EPi9 for about 6 years and it worked great. I probably only used it 6-7 times in those years though. I looked at the ComeUp winches too but really liked the look and price of the Smittybuilt ($399 shipped for the 10k model). Those new Warn winches are scary fast, we helped Erik with his when he was down here and that things spooled in so fast it almost took your arm off.

I don't think they were upgraded, but IDK for sure. I was looking for a SW EP9 used, then found the Viking which was the same thing and available new.

Fish $720 ? Hah you are not cheap enough, think I have that or a little less into winch, sun line, wireless remote , alum hawse, my bumper build and bumper skid plate, I am cheap,

I've been in too many really bad spots where a winch has saved my butt. A winch is something I won't cheap out on, even though I'll try to get it as cheap as possible.
