I’m getting ready to pull the trigger on the KO2’s (275/60/R20). I hadn’t heard this. Waiting to hear the responses.

Is there any rubbing when you drop down to access height and make a turn? Thanks.

I have 275/55r20 KO2s on my spear wheels. They’ve had less than 1k miles driven on them but seem perfectly fine riding to us. They certainly don’t “eat up” the suspension. You have more sidewall than stock and can also run lower tire pressure. The Big O guy sounds all talk and no experience.

There is little logic to that claim.
If I drive on glass smooth roads with stiff sidewalls vs slightly rough roads on soft sidewall, which eats the suspension the most?
Sounds to me more like a general dislike/fear/misunderstanding of air suspension...

Hi all. Thanks for this thread. I decided on replacing my 21” with 20s and a set of bfg all terrain 275/55. Was tempted to go larger but happy I didn’t. This combination fits the car well and the narrower wheel is well protected by 275 tires. Now onto installing the 1.5 Johnson rods. Loving this thing. Can’t wait to get wheeling.

hmm, this got me thinking. I have a 2022 on order and I was bummed that they no longer offered black 20" wheels, so I had to get 21"s. I may see if the dealer will do a swap of the wheels of the black 20"s on my old '17 when I trade-in. I'd have to get new tires of course for the 2022. Hmmm.

I fear the 21"s will just be more harsh and noisy.

(TPMS: as I remember, many of the factory ones failed on my '17 soon after taking delivery and they were replaced at a Wheel Works)

I just added KO2’s on a used set of 20” I found on Facebook. I had the rims powder coated black by a local firm and they look great.

The KO2’s run well on the road, a little noisier than the 22” road tires that I swapped out, but nothing to upset either me or my family. They handle well, not as good as the all seasons, but not a concern.

I’ve put about 500 miles on them already, including 30 miles of off road trails. Great decision, although wife is asking when we can have the 22”’s back because she prefers the look!

Looking at rock sliders for Lucky8’s or Baha lights next.
